Once you contact us, our research begins. We start with secondary research—exploring the internet and print publications for information about you, your competition, your target audience, your market. We are voracious readers.
Next, depending on budget, we conduct primary research: quantitative or qualitative, depending on your needs and budget. Research can consist of one-on-one focus groups, telephone surveys, or online surveys.
As a full-service marketing firm, we first create the screener and discussion guide. We then test positioning and key messages. Once we understand which positioning statements and messages resonated best during research, we create the brand concepts. And then we test them.
We then prepare the final report with recommendations and present this to you in person or via web conferencing.
In some ways, research is a grueling exercise—even painful—because you sometimes hear things you don’t necessarily like. But in the end, we believe that research is truly rewarding. Because it allows you to measure the success of the messages and brand concepts tested in order to choose the ones that resonate with your audience. And that, of course, helps ensure the success of your campaign.
